About their Startup

B-School is an online business education program founded by Marie Forleo, first launched in 2010–2011 in partnership with fellow entrepreneur Laura Roeder under the name “Rich, Happy & Hot B-School,” later shortened to B-School. The program runs as an 8-week, video-based training designed to teach modern entrepreneurs smart, effective online marketing strategies, with the goal of turning ideas into profitable, purpose-driven businesses. Rather than opening enrollment year-round, B-School runs once annually, building anticipation and community among each new cohort of students. Over more than a decade, the program has grown to include nearly 80,000 students from over 650 industries and countries around the world, positioning it as one of the longest-running and most recognized online business courses in its category. B-School operates under Marie Forleo International, the broader company Forleo founded in 2009, which also produces MarieTV and The Marie Forleo Podcast. The company ties its commercial success to social impact through its “Change Your Life, Change The World” initiative, in which for-profit training programs are paired with nonprofit partners supporting women, the environment, and entrepreneurship. B-School has been recognized as part of one of Inc.’s 500 fastest-growing companies.
